Tennessee Trip 2009

We just returned from an amazing vacation! It was awesome. We travelled with the Reardon family, and spent time with the Waits family as well. We were lucky to be able to bring two of Gabi's bio sisters with us for the first few days of the trip. We met up with the amazing Grandma Kathy there and she was able to spend time with all of us before taking the sisters back to her house for a visit.

Albany Farmage of Cology

Or, as most people know it Albany College of Pharmacy. Gabi has decided that when she gets bigger she is going to attend "Albany Farmage of Cology" just like her big sister. We had such a great visit with Nicki. She is doing GREAT! She gets tired easily, but appears to be quickly on the mend from that nasty bout of Mono.

Fun at the Falls

We spent Friday night and Saturday in Canada at Niagara Falls with the Reardon's. I'm so proud of Howie for his spontaneity in a last minute trip!!!

Shore Was Fun!!

We've just returned from a relaxing week at the Jersey Shore where Howie's sister graciously puts us up every summer. Her family owns a gorgeous house a block from the ocean. I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

I Love NY

Ellie traveled to NYC for the very first time to meet her Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Kenny, along with the rest of the family. Everyone was quite smitten with her. Gabi enjoyed spending time with her cousins, particularly Charlotte who is only a year and a half younger than her.

Road Trip!

So tomorrow I'm off for the weekend to Penn State to watch one of my nearest and dearest recent grads play in her first Big 10 Volleyball game. She is there on full athletic scholarship. I have been her counselor since she was in 8th grade and I just adore her and her entire family!

Jersey 07

We returned tonight from our annual trip to Deal, NJ. We spent a relaxing week at Howie's sisters summer house. I love to visit there. While there, we celebrated Howie's parents 75th and 80th birthdays, at a poolside luncheon his sister threw. We also spent time shopping and at the Ocean. Most of all, we enjoyed spending time with our family. Gabi just adores all of her cousins! :)

We're home....and our family IS bigger.......

but, sadly not in the way that we would have hoped! Our trip to NYC this week brought us to the famous "American Girl" store! This place is AH-MAZING! There is a hair salon for dolls, three floors of shopping, a tea room, and so much more! Well, after much discussion and plenty of time to decide, Gabi chose to bring home TWINS!! She named them Emily and David, after her bio twin siblings who are 2.

PS- Yes, David DOES have a pink bow in his hair.....

Tonight, we returned from a relaxing, much-needed, mini-vacation in Toronto. We had an AMAZING long weekend. We started our trip at the Lion Safari which never ceases to amaze. We also enjoyed a PHENOMINAL lunch at 360, which is the restaraunt atop the CN Tower. Most importantly, we enjoyed each other. We swam, dined, shopped, and laughed our way through! I'm so very sad that it has ended!
