I love that name. You will have to check out my friend loraenas blog (look on my sidebar for LIFE In OREGON) they just adopted a baby girl in Oct. and named her Eliana Leigh.
Beautiful... I know an Eliana who is 4 years old and she has Ellie as a nickname. The name covers a lot of bases, traditional, contemporary, cute and professional (for when she grows up!) Wonderful... Can't wait to see her... and you are right, naming her puts this wait into a new dimension!
Thanks, girls! Sue- how funny you noticed her label (not suprised)- i thought the same thing- its so real. We have started calling the nursery "Ellie's Room"!!!!!
I love that name-that and Marissa were our choices for girls, but we got Jacob instead, which we are very very happy with! Still love Eliana though! Congrats and can't wait to see pictures! Dana
